The San Joaquin County Deputy Sheriffs Association Endorses Robert Rickman

Tracy, CA – San Joaquin County Supervisor Robert Rickman, who is running for re-election in the Fifth Supervisorial District, announces an endorsement from the San Joaquin County Deputy Sheriffs Association. Founded in 1952, the organization is dedicated to protecting its members and San Joaquin County businesses and residents.

In an endorsement letter, the President of the San Joaquin County DSA, Brian McElwain, wrote, “It gives me great pleasure to inform you that the San Joaquin County Deputy Sheriffs Association has endorsed you in your race for reelection to the San Joaquin County Supervisor District 5. The San Joaquin County Deputy Sheriff’s Association represents more than 550 active and retired Deputy Sheriff’s of all ranks.

“Your unending and untiring support of deputy sheriffs, public safety and the citizens of San Joaquin County is to be commended. Your support and efforts to help to stabilize the financial crisis our county has faced over the years are also to be commended. We appreciate your continuous fight to stabilize our county and your continuous funding for the San Joaquin County Sheriff Office.

The San Joaquin County Deputy Sheriffs Association adds its endorsement to a growing list of local leaders and organizations supporting Robert Rickman’s reelection campaign for Supervisor, including the Local 3355 Tracy Firefighters Association, Congressman John Duarte, San Joaquin County Board of Supervisors, State Assemblymember Carlos Villapudua, Ripon Mayor Michael Restuccia, Escalon Mayor Dave Bellinger, San Joaquin County Superintendent of Schools Troy Brown, Lodi Mayor Pro Tempore Lisa Craig, and Tracy Mayor Pro Tempore Eleassia Davis.
