Tracy, CA – The Robert Rickman for Supervisor campaign continues to pick up momentum as the March Primary approaches. Today, the campaign announced the endorsement from Ripon City Councilmember Mike Restuccia, who is serving his fourth term on the council. Restuccia joins other prominent elected officials throughout San Joaquin County, including Lathrop Mayor Sonny Dhaliwal and County Board Chairman Miguel Villapudua in supporting Mayor Rickman’s bid for District 5.
Background: Mayor Rickman and his wife have two beautiful teenage daughters. Robert graduated from Tracy High School in 1991, attended San Joaquin Delta College, and obtained his Bachelor of Science degree from Sacramento State University. He graduated from Humphreys School of Law in 2008 with a Juris Doctor degree.
For the better part of two decades, Mayor Rickman has been employed as a State Police Officer and Sergeant. He is also a member of St. Bernard’s Church and the Elks Lodge.
Robert Rickman was elected to the Tracy City Council in 2010 and 2014. In 2015, he was voted unanimously as the Mayor Pro Tempore. Robert was elected Mayor of the City of Tracy in 2016 and 2018.
