Tracy, CA – Tracy Mayor Robert Rickman announced Monday that he has received endorsements from Lathrop Mayor Sonny Dhaliwal and Mountain House Community Services Director Brian Lucid for his campaign for San Joaquin County Supervisor.

“I’m grateful for these early endorsements and the support of colleagues like Mayor Dhaliwal and Director Lucid. I look forward to working with them as a San Joaquin County Supervisor to deliver results for the people of their communities.

“As someone who was born and raised in San Joaquin County, I have watched our county change and grow, and understand the unique needs both of the people who have lived here for decades and those new to our community.”

Lathrop Mayor Sonny Dhaliwal was first elected as mayor in 2012. Prior to that, he served on the Lathrop City Council. Brian Lucid has served on the Community Services District since 2014 and is a former Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Army.

Background: Mayor Rickman and his wife have two beautiful teenage daughters. Robert graduated from Tracy High School in 1991, attended San Joaquin Delta College, and obtained his Bachelor of Science degree from Sacramento State University. He graduated from Humphreys School of Law in 2008 with a Juris Doctor degree.

For the better part of two decades, Mayor Rickman has been employed as a State Police Officer and Sergeant. He is also a member of St. Bernard’s Church and the Elks Lodge.

Robert Rickman was elected to the Tracy City Council in 2010 and 2014. In 2015, he was voted unanimously as the Mayor Pro Tempore. Robert was elected Mayor of the City of Tracy in 2016 and 2018.
